We are beginning to publish information on the human rights situation in Latvia. Material will appear in Latvian, English and Russian — in parallel and in full, not as an abridged translation.

Why this is needed

Information about rights is usually scattered across different websites, written in legal language, and available in only one of them. For someone who has just run into a problem, that means hours of searching at exactly the moment they have the least time to spare.

We are trying to shorten that distance.

Every publication names its source. Where information is unconfirmed, we say so plainly. We do not publish personal data without consent.
